Terms information

Commercial terms are being finalized for launch.

Viva the Beaver is preparing for its first public macOS release. This page describes the current commercial direction without presenting unconfirmed price, refund, or license language as final terms.

Last updated: September 20, 2026 · Pre-launch terms overview

Purchase model

The first desktop release is planned around a one-time software purchase rather than a recurring SaaS subscription.

Final price, taxes, checkout wording, refund terms, and the complete end-user license will be published before paid distribution begins.

Desktop activation

Device activation limits differ by license type. Final Personal and Business activation terms will be published before paid release.

Future Windows licensing and entitlement terms have not been finalized and will be published when that platform is prepared. Windows is not currently available.

Trial

The current in-app trial is based on seven successful PDF exports. Trial PDFs include product attribution.

A cancelled or failed save does not consume an export. The in-app trial is separate from any commerce-provider trial mechanism.

Availability

The first public release is planned for macOS.

References to Windows, iPad, iPhone, or web versions describe future product direction only and do not indicate current availability.

Exports and sharing

The desktop application supports local PDF, editable PowerPoint, and JPG image export.

PDF Share is a user-invoked online feature planned for the commercial release. It remains unavailable until the entitlement proof and production-service release gate are complete. Local exports do not depend on Share.

Commerce provider

Lemon Squeezy is the planned commerce and licensing provider for the first commercial release.

Provider-specific purchase, tax, payment, and refund handling will be reflected in the final terms once the live product and checkout configuration are complete.

Final terms

Before commercial launch, this page will be replaced or expanded with the complete end-user license, purchase, refund, acceptable-use, and service terms that apply to the released product.

Until then, this page is informational and should not be interpreted as the final legal agreement.

For the product purpose and meeting workflow, read the Product Guide. For how original video, planned PDF Share, licensing data, and diagnostics are designed to be handled, see Privacy.
